I'd rather not comment on this dog unless her new owner/s ask.

Second photo is much, much better. Good luck to the new owner, I haven't done a critique since long time, but I'm afraid should the owner see my comments, doesn't like them and he/she has a hot temper, I would then regret opening up my mouth

Me too, Ibrahim. I'm already in enough trouble for one day because of those stinking ASL dogs at Westminster and my OB video. Time for a cocktail......

Blitzen, you have to relax, this is nothing personal, just exchanging opinions and thoughts.I think the AKC judges should see this bitch and how real German Shepherd should look like.To me i would die to own a bitch like this.

Who are you Shatterhand or Waleed? Suddenly this all makes sense, you have 2 screen names, don't you? What happened to Waleed? I think you are BUSTED.

In fact the couple I have seen, including Dallas, and that beautiful male in Xeph's thred are what most people, not German Shepherd critics, invision when they think of a German Shepherd. (believe me, I spend a lot of time talking about the breed, to lots of people).
The ASL dogs are posed for these pictures. They don't spend their time standing around like that 'posed stance' when not being shown.
To each his own in this breed. In every line, you have breeders turning their line, into crap. But you also have exceptional dogs in every line. They "do"what they are trained and taught to do. Ithe inabilities if the dogs are more a matter of the inability of the owner. Some people athletic, some are not. The dogs learn what they live.
It does not mean they can't do something..
I have more working line dogs anymore, but i do love the showline.
Sorry but I think there is so much ignorance involved in tthe showline trashing. Most these people see pictures only, and repeat only what they read.
A picture don't always say a thousand words.

I do not like either photo, not my cup of tea (and I'm a WGSL person, not here just to bash the line!)
