From the angle of the photo, all I can tell is that she has a pretty face and a full coat.

From the angle on this picture nothing beside coat and coat color can be said. Both are fine.
Just of curiosity, what are your goals with an almost 9 year old female as you state that you "just got her"?

by Rogelio Monzon on 03 October 2013 - 05:10

I agree Lady Frost.A 9 yr.old should be enjoying her retirement from showing/producing puppies. Here in the UK ,our KC has stated that pups must be registered b4 a bitch reaches 8 yrs n i believe it may now be 6 yrs, tho.i,m not 100% sure of this.Would never ever consider mating a bitch of this age no matter how fit n healthy she is.Carole Spelman Rheinmeister gsds.

I don't think the OP wants to know what some of us think.
Omg Smile  S.M.H.  The one saving grace is that it would not be
her first and only litter ...

VATM!

by Sheesh on 03 October 2013 - 14:10

Please do not breed this female. She is well past what most consider a reasonably healthy and safe age for breeding. The chance of complcations arising during pregnancy and whelping are significantly increased. If the health complications aren't convincing enough, the vet bills could be extensive, and you risk losing the litter and the bitch.
Most people do not breed a bitch past 7-8yrs at the oldest, under the most optimal circumstances.
The high risk is just not worth it, IMO.
