How do I correct misspelled name in a pedigree?

You must click on the upgrade pedigree button found on that dog's page. Then, simply correct the spelling error! :-)

is the misspelling on this site, or the actual pedigree from the kennel club?

Well, its not that easy! Only if its the dog you added. If its a generation back and you correct the spelling it can happen that the pedigree tree gets completely thrown off and one has to link it to the correct spelled name again by making sure the parents of that dogs are listed in the update site correctly.
Sometimes its better to just leave it alone if you encounter a misspelled dog a couple generations back. Also, as I do have such case, the father of my girl Tunguska >Arko vom Zwickauer Mark(t)steig< is misspelled even on the AKC papers. Last time I checked, he was listed twice here, with correct spelling and incorrect spelling.
