Banned For Life, By Sharon Bowen & Co, For Complaining. - Page 1

Take a warning from me, I was Banned as was my wife and so was any person living at the same address as me,                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       for life from entering any show held by the G S D club of Wales Which includes the prestigious 2 day show held in Wales,                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 when I tried to enter G S D club of Wales show this year, A letter was sent refusing my entry and my cheque was returned. 
this was a unanimous decision by the comittee.  this was because I complained to the K C,  (put my £35 down, which I got it back)
regarding the way in which judge Egidio Esposito & Sharon Bowen, at there open show March 2009, where they were altering the positions of bitches
acording to their German S V working qulifications,
I quote the Judge Esposito words interperted by Sharon Bowens ,
"The first bitch was the best bitch in the show but becuse she had no koerung she can not have first place" it was pointed out that the bitch had British breed survey class 1
This has all been written in the national magazine, and the K C have logged it, and I have many witnesses to the above and to my good conduct  the day at the show,

I was right in my actions, but even if I was wrong, and some may think I was, if I made a mistake, is it right to pillory me and my family, ban us all for an indefinite term.
This was the unanimous decision by the comittee. so don't complain, or you and yours will suffer eternal damnation.

TBH Bob 4 ,are u that bothered.Its only one club.I remember the incident n yes that decision was wrong.I felt for the owner n breeders of this quality female n she SHOULD have been made.Doubt if these complaints/comments on the other thread will make any difference.Many well known n respected breeders of top quality winning gsds of yesteryear are getting sick to the back teeth of all this facey judging.TBH.only a few names comes to mind who I think as being fair n honest,where all exhibitors are given a fair chance.I take my chances with the rest of us these days,am successful at some shows n not at others.I tend nowadays to only enter general ch.shows as my biych is now a veteran,so not much chance for that 3rd.CC but i enter for the enjoyment n socialisation with friends in the breed n now to help my friends who transport me to the shows with the fuel costs.If i get banned from any club(s)over my comment then so be it,their loss not mine,as my bitch is first n foremost a PET,show dog 2nd n she,s never been mated so not been a money making machine either.Neither is she an extention to my own EGO.Win or lose i go home with THE BEST GSD.Carole Spelman Rheinmeister gsds.

Bob4, If what you say is true and you reported the club for incorrect proceedure at a K.C. show, was it upheld by the K.C. has the club been sanctioned by the K.C. Did you get you're entry into the club on time, or is there any other reason for you're entry being refused. There are 2 sides to every story, I find it hard to believe Sharon and her committee would act in such a vindictive way against an exhibiter.

If no-one complained about things that are unacceptable, people will just carry on doing it, they must make themselves accountable and deal with it like adults.  No-one is above exemption and no recriminations should be taken against those who do complain, if done in a polite manner.

Bill, I'v been trying to paste the relavent letters sent to and from the K C,  G S D club of wales,  and myself, but can,t make it work,  so if any one can help?.  let me make it quite clear,  what I say is the truth as many by stander will tell you, but like your thread is saying no one is prepared to say anything, just let it drift on as it has untill the breed in Britan is finished, as I exlained in my opening, and I quote the Judge Egidio Esposito words interperted by Sharon Bowen "The first bitch was the best bitch in the show but because she has no koerung she can not have first place". Sharon Bowen had been told in time for this to be altered, she should know the rules on showing and that was blatantly missuse of the rules to suit them selves, the club was sanctioned, I quote from the K C letter to myself,   "the G S D club of Wales is asked to review the way in which it briefs its judges for it's shows. can email letter if you like, got my £35 might have been £25?.   I also have a recorded reciept entry sent in plenty of time, yes there are two sides to a story, this is mine,  I think theirs is I put their nose out how dare any one tell me what to do. once again like your thread,  (just to side track the Italian Judge at the  welsh 2 day show later that year said to the on lookers I can not give V rating to any of these dogs because I am, not allowed to see their working qualifications, or something very similar. last of all the letter refusing my entry was unanimous, as was my life time ban.  even Malcombe  Griffith  only got a 10 year ban. take a look at Georgie Sheffield's letter in the National mag May 2009, I also got a copy of a letter sent By Glinis Appleby Nat Magizine June 2009 read it, then tell me there was not an agenda.  I spoilt it for Sharon Bowen.

You know Ladies & Gents this is why I stopped going to shows many years ago, the breed side is "bent" and full of money making people, don't give a damn about their dogs so long as they win or in the running. Having said that I fully appreciate that there are good people out there also, Noddi I applaud you and your attitude, should be more like you. I can't see it changing, unfortunately Animals is an easy way to make money!
