We have had price increases in Ohio for Royal Canin #24 dog food. It reached $42.00 for a 35 pound bag this summer.

I went to get some yesterday and the guy working said they increased the price by $10.00 per 35# bag. Now the price is $52.00. This happen to anyone else?

Try paying 70.00 plus taxes here in ontario Canada and for only 30lbs.I have stopped using it but not cause of the price but cause of the couple formula changes in 5 or 6 months And  dogs refusing to eat it.

Yep, that's about right in my area too.  That's why I switched food.  With no coupons and rarely any sales, RC has gotten too expensive.  It's sad that in this current economy companies would choose to raise their food basically $5-6 dollars at once.

I started feeding TOTW because of the formula change, but the price is nice too.  Much better quality food that's $38 for a 30 lbs bag.

The price has sky rocketed in SA as well, and I think we are paying for the mistake with the other Brand they own, we have here, they own it is called Vets Choice which was found to be contaminated, so we are paying for the lack of  ethics these people have and their failure to keep lab testing and product standards maintained buying from unchecked resources for cheaper prices, and now want to pass the buck onto the consumer, my gripe with them is ongoing, I also wrote to them cos they changed the ingriedients on Vets Choice and they did not bother to inform the consumers and added fish oil they deny this but I kept the packaging bar code so they were stumped as proof. Alot of dogs are highly allergic to fish oil, it is not the great rave for fixing skin problems for all dogs, I will never buy or support this brand again cos of the lack of empathy they have shown towards all the people that lost dogs, they think people will forget about the deaths etc. I know somone who had 23 dogs on the sister brand Vets Choice whose dogs collapsed from kidney failure, two now failing to concieve and have to be on support medication. So as far as I am concerned RC is just as much to blame one company looking after multiple brands could easily be stupid enough to make another mistake.
