Hi , If you read Petros post: To all US residents: SchH training in Germany, he tells a bad tale of her.  I want to know if anyone else had any dealings with her to back up Petros, I hate to see someone get bashed if its not true.

I don't think this is really necessary......  I think if anyone wanted to refute the Petros claim, all they had to do was post under the original thread.  Aren't you thinking your getting a little bent out of shape over nothing here, sdchargers?  Petros was not out to slander or bash, and just had other people's interests in his/her explanation.   They just wanted other people to know their experience, so, just like I have done, we can let other people know our misfortunes and hopefully others can learn from our our mistakes and not have to go though what we had to.  It is good for people to know what all they are up against & be Very cautious who they deal with........   Pros and cons.

Dear Nicole,

I do not know Petros, therefore I do not know his true intentions.

How do you know what Petros was out to do???

I am far from getting bent out of shape, I would only be bent out of shape if his story was FALSE.

I am greatful for him posting his message, IF it is true.

Did you ever hear that old saying there is two sides to every story?

Do you find it odd, he said he had two bad experiences BUT only named Christine and not the other??????

I am all about helping the fellow GSD owner and educating them.  thanks Deanna

It is true.  Close friend of mine shipped 2 dogs to be trained.  After she saw pics of her male, she insisted the dog be sent back.  Paid for training just to get him back.  You could see EVERY rib and hib bone in this dog.  Burn marks on testicles.  Took her a year to undo the damage, not to mention the dog was about 55lbs when he came back (original close to 80).  The other dog "Jana" wouldn't send back, never knew what happened to her but we do know she's bred dogs before without papers so we assume that's what happened to her.

Another breeder sent a dog to her for a client.  Only way they got the dog back was to send a check, dog was on the plane, and stopped payment on the check.

I personally bought a female years ago from her.  1 time and only 1 time.  But that's another story.

So I am sure if you asked nice Petros would have told us the 2nd story.   And yes, it did look like you were on the guy's balls for no real reason!  It is VERY obvious the guy is hurt and trying to warn other people!  Haven't you ever had a crappy business transaction, and feel there is no recourse other than to bitch to keep the next guy from falling in?  Wouldn't that be the most humane thing to do to save some other poor dog and numbnut owner from getting into the same mire?  Hell, I been there.  So I feel his pain & understand completely.   And after vomlandholz's post it is more so unlikely that this is some random screw up.  Plain and simple: The public has been warned, use this trainer At Your Own Risk!

Petros' story can be repeated many times with different trainers across Germany. Problems arise when expectations fall outside reality.

I see lots of problems stemming from dogs that are not prepared being sent. Trainers often take dogs they have never seen and are expected to perform miracles. If your one year old house dog has never seen a helper and you send it for titling. You are asking for trouble. Trainers expect a dog to be correctly on the sleeve when it arrives.

Many problems stem from a dog being sent with a time frame set. Even a dog that test's OK initially will probably encounter some issues throught the training. It's not fair to expect a dog to be ready when you want it to. There's too much to be taught between the time the dog leaves you and the time it's titled.

Score: These dogs are not trained to go to the Nationals. They are trained to pass their SchH title. Don't expect 95/98/99. Be happy with 70/70/80 or title the dog yourself.

Great, so you don't get good scores. Fine.  That excuses burn marks on the dogs testicles and leaving the US at 80-85 pounds and coming back nothing but bones?  i saw the dog, I went with her to pick him up from the airport.  The owner broke down crying he was in such poor shape.  how is that training?

hi all, the reason I made this thread was to see if anyone would defend christine, thats all, i thought she should be able to tell her side of the story.  I agree 100 percent with dog1

I doubt she will post anything here. These discussions turn into messy battles, everyone is drug through the mud and no one wins.

I've used 7 trainers in Germany. Some excellent results, some not so good.

Christine has titled a few for me and overall I had a good experience. She put a SchH2 and survey on Helen. She drove many of my females across Germany for breeding, did all the vet work and paperwork for shipping and transported dogs back and forth.  She put a SchH2 and SchH3 and Life survey on Laola. Between titles and breeding she sent her over and handled her in the protection work at the NASS in Nashville where Laola went VA5.

She and Laola really clicked. They formed a special bond that exists to this day. She was able to get a Fantastic performance out of Laola that no one since has been able to come close to.

You'll find nobody gives her anything. She has to work for every title. She has to go to multiple clubs and work on multiple fields. Many of the dogs she has are not worth titling in my opinion, but she takes them (often sight unseen) because the owners love them and want them titled.
