Could be pano yes. Pano won't show up on a xray right away either....
She's about the right age and the symptoms sound like it.

A friend whose Bernese Mtn pup (now a year old) developed a limp, and when taken to the vet and had xrays done, she was diagnosed with shoulder displaysia. It was right around the 9 month mark as well. She had surgery done to correct it, but I haven't kept in touch with my friend about it. Best of luck! Hopefully it's something that can be treated!

Bella is pretty much back to normal right now. She still has a slight limp, but nothing like last weekend. But then she has been on Metacam for the past 4 days which is mostly a painkiller?? Would this be typical of Pano? I vaguely remember one of my pups in the past having Pano but don't remember the limp being that bad. But then it was a long time ago. I do remember the limp would come and go and left for good at about a year and a half.
