Such inbreeding is needed only to establish a breed. As a breed the gsd is well established so using this practice suggests the breeder has very poor knowledge of alternative bloodlines, wants to make a fast buck by using own stud dog or hopes to promote own stud dog and only female available to do this with was sires own offspring.

Conclusion, more likely breeder has very poor knowledge but probably all of the above. All that aside, CULLING IS MURDER.

I have a 2-2 from Koos. I e-mailed the SV to inquire about registration. The exact response was "We wil accept this pedigree". I don't know what the criteria they use, as my dog does not yet have titles.
