This has been confirmed with x-rays and symptoms. She was a normal by the SV at 1 yr old but at 3 1/2 yrs old when she was diagnosed. My female is spayed and doing well. My female was bred at 2 yrs old and one of her progeny has had a litter so be very careful when it comes to the hips. The dam of my dog has produced bad hips in numerous pups. | German Shepherd Dog | SG Hannalisese vom Dreieck SCH1 CD TR2 (HOT) | My response to Jetta's daughter is done only because I bred this female and I would not want a perspective buyer of one her pups not be aware of the truth in regards to Jetta's change in her hip status. Only 1 female from her litter besides Teala was OFA'd, the rest are not. One male may have bad hips but no proof. All the owners of her pups have been notified of Jetta's hip because that is the right thing to do. As a breeder for many years why would you breed a female who by the way is not titled ( Teala) who has an OFA fair knowing Teala's mom Jetta ( which by the way half of Jetta's littermates did have bad hips) has HD (even though you won't accept it) and her grandmother does produce bad hips(it takes 2)and her great grandfather had NZ hips. FYI: Jetta is not "V" rated in conformation but "SG rated. I do hope all of Teala's pups hips are ok, but bad hips are very close in the mother line. Denise .... | 16.1 years ago |
