I would like to know how to see extended linebreeding beyond 5 gen without creating a dog. Thank you.

It's a mating outcome on a hypothetical dog. I need to see the linebreeding further back than the mating tool allows.

Sorry, there is no way to do that. That would require programming changes and has been suggested to us previously
If it is that important to you, you can do it yourself by printing 6 generation peds of the sire and dam and figuring out the linebreeding yourself.

or....... add a dog, get the information (screen print it) , and IMMEDIATELY delete the dog.  We admins really frown on this as members tend to leave the FAKE dog name in the database.  But I am all for breeders wanting to make educated decisions about their breeding programs.

Umm, yeah, in what world did the linebreeding on this site start going past 7 generations?  Teeth Smile

Thank you for the suggestion. Will give that a try next time I want to do a trial mating. Up until now, I have been clicking on the dogs' pedigrees, looking at the 7 generation info, and relying on my memory, which isn't 100% accurate.

I think that the extended linebreeding has been there since I signed on as admin 2 years ago, but my memory is terrible.

Is it only visible to the admins, then? I certainly don't see it. 7 generations is the limit both for linebreeding and for viewing pedigrees.

OK we seem to have the ability to see up to 10 generations  It has been many years since I have had a regular name and did not know that you guys could only go up to 7 generations

Be glad to help anyone who needs more if I can.
