Just My Opinion - Page 1

Even tho this is the Off Topic section where anything goes, I think since this is still a GSD messageboard anyone who comes over here just to preach politics and religion should also have to post in at least one other forum related to dogs. If one is just looking for a place to spout their beliefs there are plenty more on the internet that are geared just for that.

However, in no way does that mean you should start posting on the dog boards if you're only going to continue to spout religious or political rants. When you post on the dog board, your topic must be a Dog, or about a Dog! Just saying! jackie harris

Thank you Jackie. I thought about that much later but I was half asleep and I wasn't getting up just to make a new post. I had more or less meant that when I wrote it. So yay my friend read my mind long distance............LOL...........

It seems those "spouting"their beliefs in the OT forum have very little actual dog knowledge or experience for the most part.  Some may talk about dogs form 30 years agao and some may buy and breed dogs like crazy, but that is about it.  I find those "spouting" off on the OT section have little or nothing to add to the actual dog forum.   IMO, making them post on the dog forum would only further degrade the topics there as well.  Have you read any of their posts in the dog sections????????????????????????????????

Dang Jim never even looked at it that way. You're right I'd better be careful what I ask for. There's enough of that going on by people who haven't a clue without adding to. Thanks for your input. And yeah I've read their input and choose to even try to give them a clue once in a while but that's fairly useless also.

GSDGuy what I meant was people come over here and just spout off and they never post on any of the dog places, just here. Not going to mention any names but one poster over here said he did post in the dog section and was put down because of his breeding practices--yes I remember that but have no comments--so he refused to comment over there anymore. But he sure makes his presence known over here.

Your idea that the forum should conform to your standards, your rules, is offensive to me.
It got us to where we are today.

Politics is a joke because we as a people are a joke, we let the system control us instead of the other way around.
Religion is a joke when someone wants to prove he is right and all others wrong.
All passion and no sense.

Separation is required or there will be no freedom.

To the Muslim who wants free speech abolished for his religion's sake, I say go away and leave this country, you do not belong here with that attitude.
His faith is no more valid to me than is the Christian faith.
Who cares if Jesus was a womanizer, or if Mohammed was a bandit, and the Buddha a beggar.

How many died today because of a religious belief.

How many people gave there life today trying to have the kinds of freedoms we take for granted.

You have all joined in on these OT threads, trust me you'd miss them if they were gone.

Leave the forum alone and act as though you have a little sense if possible.
