Has anyone else gotten a call like this where the caller ID name is actually "Phone Scam" ? I had to take a picture. I didn't answer the phone nor did I try calling the number. Could it be a warning from the phone company? Anyone good at looking up phone numbers? The number is not from my area and have no idea who it is. If you can't read it, the number is 567-248-4400.

Don't answer as now that number will come up on your Caller I.D. as: Phone Scam.  So, it's been reported enough to the Do Not Call list as they have listed this with the number.  Also the people from the Do Not Call List center told us not to hit any keys to be taken off of their list, etc.  Aldo don't call them back & asked to be removed.  This just confirms your number as a "Good" working number.  They then will sell it, or trade your number, etc.  Most of these calls are to try to get you information to switch your Credit Cards to them in which they will take your info. & have your card pin, etc. within minutes.  They also changed the laws on buying pre-paid cell phones to a limit of 2 per person at a time.  That's to help stop them from using thes phones to get your identity & then smash the phone, etc.  I did get the call with a mid-eastern type voice with all of the foul language last year.  I searched Goodle just by the phone number & saw all of the same complaints.  That's when I called the Do Not Call Center.  Finally it's nice to know that it comes up as Phone Scam!!!

WOW! I should have just googled the number. I had no idea. I'm surpised they can't find the person using the number as it sounds like it has been around for awhile. I didn't answer or call the number back as I thought it might be an IQ test. I mean if it says phone scam, who would pick up?
