True.

The reason I asked is New Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport: 1,200HP could reach 268-270MPH but they had to put limiter to the car to 258MPH - since it brings sudden death to tires going near 270MPH. http://carscoop.blogspot.com/2010/07/new-bugatti-veyron-164-super-sport.html

And of course you have a place to drive such a car, and surely you can afford the price....lol
Don't forget the insurance.

Moons,

Actuall truth when a car is too expensive, no insurance will want your car.

Let say your car worth 1 Million dollars and let say you pay 1 thousand dollars per month and in 1 year insurance - made 12 thousand dollars on you and if you totaled a car, then insurance has to pay you full retail price when you have a full coverage. No insurance in the world will take such risk to insure your car. LOL It just my thoughts!

Anything can be insured, even body parts, literally anything of value, it's a matter of price really.

Who wants a car that you can only drive on a straight extremely long race track somewhere.  Cars like the Bugatti or that car can be driven on the street sure, but who on earth would want to drive something that costly...... Even to just go around someone in the Bugatti, the guys on Top Gear said that you would have to have about a mile of open road way just to safely go around someone on the road and not wreck.  If anyone wanted a very nice car that's fast, and would actually be fun to drive.....the new Skyline GTR R35 is all wheel drive (as all of them are) but can go 0-60 in 3 seconds flat and does the quarter mile quicker than a lot of Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and many other cars that cost 200 thousand - 1 million dollars.  The Skyline is only 80-90 grand brand new.  There is a GTR R35 that was modded, the guy put about 70 grand into it and it ran 9.8 seconds in the quarter mile...... So.... $150 grand total for Skyline + mods 9.8 seconds in the quarter mile.......which is faster than the Bugatti that cost over a million dollars.

Shtal, to insure a Bugatti will be more than 1 thousand a month.  I forgot the car, but on Top Gear one of the guys mentioned a car they had insured before......a car not as expensive as the Bugatti....and it cost more than that, quite a bit more than that.

MY beautiful Cocker spaniel Maggie , rides in a Bugatti. SHe lives here in TYler and I have a picture I have posted before on here , but cannot find it as I do not know how on this system but I cannot find it     either in mine.

The Bugatti is owned by my friends and they have two of my cocker spaniels. Of course, they are retired oilpeople from Dallas.  Gsdtravels sat in the yard with me and knows of whom I speak.  In fact  TRAVELS  has some pics of this wonderful yard that two beautiful dogs live in Maggie and Sara.

Here is a picture of it off the magazine, Tyler U.S.A., 2004 issue,  as I just took a camera shot of.  Maggie, and the Pyrons here in Tyler . Maggie and Sara also perform for the Azalea trail and Rose Parade greyhound tours that come to their home to take pictures.
I am very proud to have such people taking care of two of my girls.

YellowRose, what's the quarter mile time on that?  How much horse power does it have? I'm speaking of the new one with over one thousand horsepower.  I'd still prefer a the Skyline, which rides, handles, and turns very, very well.
