In each human heart are a tiger, a pig, an ass and a nightingale.  Diversity of character is due to their unequal activity.

When I was working as a charge nurse in a nursing home I learned you could learn a lot about life if you stopped talking long enough to listen, the 3 best pieces of advice I got from elderly residents...1. 95% of what you worry about never comes to pass.
                 2. It always works out in the end, if it isn't working out that just means it's not
                     the end.
                  3. Last but probably the most important is when people are sitting in the nursing
home and are looking back on their life their biggest regrets are not the things
they did or said, they are the things that they never tried, that they were just
too busy to do, or the things they left unsaid. Life is made up of all the little
things that at the time appear to be insignificant moments that you will get
to later, we don't always have a later so find something you love and do it
don't spend your life doing things you hate because you feel you have to,
Sometimes you have to trust yourself and those around you enough to
allow them to fail to see if they can succeed.
