Dr. Sachs noted German Judge & Koermaster, wrote in his official report: Iro is a well stretched male with excellent back, temperament, structure and gait. Excellent attack spirit. Sex-expression male-like, strong, dry and solid. He is lively, alert, good-natured, unafraid, strong nerves and fresh at all times. He has a shepherd-Dog like appearance, full of life, alert and noble. Standing, his bone structure is strong, middle-heavy, medium-sized dog, and gaiting he covers much ground... No structural or dental faults. Angekort for 1957/1958. Iro is said to have been x-rayed in Germany and his hips pronounced normal.
