The "best" does not exists, it is just an emotional comment.

For real breeders the concept "best" is a review of several factors but always in relation to some other partner.

Iliano can be the best choice for Terry female, but for Videx is Omen the first choice. No problem at all.

For my females I would prefer Omen because of his top conformation, pedigree and pigmentation. He has absolutely no problems in temperament.

I base my opinion on knowledge and experience, and lots of it!
Omen has an outstanding character and temperament. One measure, and I mean one MEASURE, not opinion, is Omen's Schutzhund Scores.

SchH1 = 94-85-91 = 270
SchH2 = 98-88-94 = 280
SchH3 = 96-85-94 = 275

Note his Protection phases = 92 & 94 & 94

I think Videx should look at bitework and temperament of both Iliano and Omen, and than he should understand my comparison. Omen is a beautifull male excellent anatomy , but his temperament is not the same as Iliano.I still think Iliano is much better than Omen, that is why i chose to breed my female to him instead to any other dog in Germany. Beside i like much better his mother side,and i think Iliano will be better producer.Videx this is my personal point of view, and i respect yours.

An excellent son of Remo. I would not venture to give an opinion on his comparison with Omen. Both are excellent males. I wonder what qualifications (other than having used Iliano) the previous poster has, to make such a bold statement.

He is a carbon copy of his great sire VA-1 Remo von Fichtenschlag and
he is 6,6 generations of your breeding on the sire side and he's
5 generations om the mother's side.
Illiano is a GREAT male..he is surely destined to be a future WORLD SIEGER!!!!

Some folks go out and buy great dogs..but with GOD'S help, you make them at your kennel.

When I first wrote to you, I told you that I have been following your breeding program for several years because I feel that "YOU" are the up and coming best breeder of GSDogs in Germany...and you proved it this past weekend at the Sieger show.

And your breeding program also produced several top, top placements at the 2011 sieger show including SIEGER VA-1 Remo von Fichtenschlag and of course your kennel was first in the "KENNELS GROUP".
