Actually Perla's hips were done (OFA) at 30 months of age after she had her first litter and she was in heat when the vet did the x-rays. Yes hips do change between 1 and 2 years and that is why I am suspicious of any SV hip score shot at 1 year ( they almost all are ). So if you are breeding based on the SV hip scores they are not going to give the same result as OFA or PennHip at 24 months. Both OFA and PennHip both show best correlation of predicted hip development and actual results at 24 months or more. PennHIP claims to be more accurate but that is based on them investigating themselves.

If the owner didn't agree he should have sent to another organization to be rated but he didn't. Hips change from ages 1-2.
Bottom line is that on the website he says "hips good, elbows normal".

OFA says otherwise.

I know the owner and this is what he told me. At one year of age Perla had normal to excellent hips according to his vet who also did the OFA. When they did the two year evaluation for OFA the vet said he didn't know what happened because now Perla's hips were not like before. Now Wade could have not sent the OFA results in but he did ... so if he was trying to hide it why would he have sent in results that his vet told him were going to be bad?? I would also point out that all of you using the SV system of taking hip and elbows at one year are just kidding yourself that those are telling the truth. Both Pennhip and OFA both show more reliable results at two years so why does the SV allow one year old x-ray results?? Because more dogs will pass at one year than will pass at two years. So some of you out there with SV hip scores do you want to take new ones at two years??

This dog has Mild HD. The owner says they are "good" on this website which as you see on OFA's website, is nothing but a lie and false advertisement.

This is a dog pedigree, used by breeders and breed enthusiasts to see the ancestry and line-breeding of that individual dog. The pedigree page also contains links to the dogs siblings and progeny (if any exist). For dog owners with purebred dogs this is an excellent resource to study their dog's lineage.
