Breed report

Groß, pigmentbetont, mittelkräftig, sehr ausdrucksvoll. Gut verlaufende, feste Oberlinie, die in einer abfallenden Kruppe endet. Hinterhand gut gewinkelt bei enger Folge. Vorhand normal bis gut gelagert, leicht gebunden im Vortritt. Kör.: 544 3/55 "a" DDR.

Dem zu seinem Format passender Kopf ist ein korrekt gestelltes und festes Ohr aufgesetzt, welches leicht zur Größe neigt. Die recht schöne Oberlinie endet in einer etwas abfallenden Kruppe. Aus guter Winkelstellung der Vor- und Hinterhand, befähigen ihn die langen Laufknochen zu guter Schrittweite, wobei die Aktionen aus der Hinterhand kraftvoll unterstützt werden. Er hat noch nicht die volle Reife erlangt und verkörpert einen gesunden Gebrauchshundtyp. Bei Zuchtverwendung ist zu beachten: Geeignet für mittelgroße und substanzvolle Hündinnen mit straffen Vordermittelfuß sowie als Ausgleichspartner für das Pigment und in den Laufknochen erwünschte Hündinnen. This was a good size, powerful dog with big head and muscular build. I never saw him outside his own yard, none the less, carried himself with great confidence. I would work this dog on suit and sleeve when visiting his owner. Crushing, painful grip and due to his head size, almost impossible to find a safe spot inside the suit. Loved playing with a ball.
