Please answer - since the German Shepherd dog breed was created, a medium sized dog was desired - an agile all purpose dog yet one capable of taking down a man. The intent was never for this to be a giant breed.

There are bigger dogs with more size and physical power - and more suitable to "guarding" work as opposed to general police service where the dog must work in partnership with a human. Dogs of the Molosser heritage

Why do you think the breed needs to change direction? And why do you think you are the one to do it? How can a disabled person such as yourself manage all these dogs and train them in protection work? I have seen dogs trained in protection and it is very athletic/ very physically demanding. If you want a big dog, why would you not want a King or a Shiloh instead of trying to change what a GSD is supposed to be?

With the extra size come a bigger ear size. So the puppies take longer to have their ears stand up all the time.
We see them being to have them up by eight months and standing like Here on Princes photo at a year plus. Until then they seem to only have them up when they hear something and are aleart. When jsut lieing around they are relaxed. as they get older they continue to be up more and more till they are always up.

If you see any photo of any of the dogs and want to see other photos so check just email and we have hundreds.

When the dogs are with me most the time on any of the dogs will ever have their ears up. Do not ask my why, it has to do with how I am and how they show respect for me. But they all do put up their ears.

Thanks.

Prince Von Allen, now the main Stud of Allen House of German Shepherds. a super large dog 140Lbs at 1 1/2 yeas old.
Father of eight in his very first litter.

This is a dog pedigree, used by breeders and breed enthusiasts to see the ancestry and line-breeding of that individual dog. The pedigree page also contains links to the dogs siblings and progeny (if any exist). For dog owners with purebred dogs this is an excellent resource to study their dog's lineage.
