Over medium size strong black male with a strong head & good expression. Slight dip at withers, firm back in stand. Croup is proportion but slightly steep. Good angulation in front, very good in rear.Good pigment & normal coat. Robust constitution, noble expression, strong bones, musculature is well developed / powerful. Gait is correct straight with good reach in both in rear / front.
Temperament: Calm, alertness present, steady nerves, surness present, Gun sureness present, self-confidence pronounced & does release.
Ellex's strenghs are his stable steady temperament, natural slow methodical tracker, very powerful strong guarding & full hard grips.
He has high ball & food drives but not extreme. Ellex has a very high willingness to please, easy to handle & train. He is safe in public,
in between being naturally aloof to social with friendly visitors. He is excellent with children & not dog aggressive. I've taken Ellex to nursing homes & my nieces / nephews birthday parties. He has worked with no issues of various new training fields / buildings.
Ellex is always ready to go to work, but can turn off when off the field. That off switch has been lost in so many sport only dogs today.

Grand sire; Falk competed in the FCI world Championships in 2004, the VDH DM 2004 and the BSP 3x (2002-2004), placing 9th 2003 and BSP
V protection scores all years & went to the WUSV.
Dam; Tuya vom Salztalblick SCH3 KkL1. Tuya is Line bred 2-3 on V Dasty vom Gries SCH3 IPO3 FH2.Dasty SCHH3 score was a perfect 300 at high levels. Dasty was v-rated both in work & structure. Dasty vom Gries info; Dasty was an excellent example of what a Max von Stephanitz (originator of the breed) originally intended working German Shepherds to be, "Remarkable in his unswerving loyalty to his master, irrepressible in his high spirits, never idle, always in motion, good-natured but not a flatterer, a constant pleasure to the eye." Calm, safe nature, hardness, courage and combat impulse pronouncedly, does release. He was known for his strong defense & high fighting drives.
