vegas is great dog but the best is pakros who produce vegas and other good dogs ihave direct son of pakros , direct son of vegas , direct doughter of vegas according to my minimal experience this line should be mixed with zamp line , orbit , to get best dog with big head , strong bones , and good size

This is just my opnion,but in my eyes this dog is a living proof
of the crualty and selfishness of man kind ,taking a well balance
beautiful breed and destroing it because you think its nicer or better
if the angel will be more down and so on...and now we dont have a dog anymore we have a frog..just look at the first pic. of him nernberg
bszs 2010...not only that it doesnt look good ,this larg gate is only good for a relative short time,its not as efective as a wolf gate that can go for so much longer. Nauture makes no mistakes,but human do.
i am not even going to get into the health (hip d.) issue...

I hear that Vegas also won the spanish seiger 2009. That is amaing. he is tribute to all german shepherds. An amazing working dog, & a magnificent show dog. This is the best of what Max wished for. Probably will reign as one of the best GSD's in history.

Is it anyone that understand why SV choosen to include Vegas among the ones that did the best TSB in Ulm?

And that they did it at the same time as they "forgot", or perhaps consious excluded several ("working-line-males) that did amomg the best TSB:s..

I regard it, in itself, as a very good idea to give those dogs more attention, but I don't understand why the responsible within SV don't seem to understand that they now, when they do like this, so to speak makes this good idea to a simple kind of joke?

Vegas is one of the most well built dogs that ever has existed, but he for sure does not belong to the ones below!

Vegas looked incredible and shone as sieger once again!
The team behind Vegas were incredibly generous with their time and allowed press and public full access to this wonderful dog at all stages of the Bundessieger. Nothing was too much for his handlers , they accommodated every request for fotos with great grace and continued to do this right until the every end of the show. Vegas too showed what impeccable character he possesses , never flinching or reacting negatively to any of the many individuals who held him close as they posed for fotos with him.
A worthy sieger and advocate for the breed for sure.

A well deserved Sieger last summer, he had a great progeny group (filled with goodlooking sons and amazing daughters). And even though Zamps group was my favourite of the day, Vegas really won me over and soon I will be mating one of my females with himself or one of his sons.
Congrats on this outstanding Sieger!

Very beautiful male - but he need 10 % more power and size.He gaved lot of super femiles - but real male ... not jet... will he ???
I think because of that he can not be compared with Zamp and Queen progeny

I agree with funky monkey who would doubt this magneficent creature the title (VA1) which belonged to him since the day he was born. To me there are only two dogs that is the 'perfect' dog and that is Vegas and the other being the great Zamp!

yes, you are right! Vegas will be in the present and in the future with all the problems he brought to our breed: ears like paper in the wind, puppies who can not move because overangulation; hipsproblems overall, weak personality!

Vegas's hindquarter does bother me, I've heard he is producing more than a few pup's with cow hocks. Cow hocks are a serious fault & usually associated with over angulated hindquarters. This combined with his sire's (Pakros) borderline elbows would make me think long & hard about using them.

I agree with the posters. If I were Looking for a dog to add it would be from him and an Ursas line top rated bitch. I am going to attend the next years show in Germany to see him in action. Teh angulation does not bother me. I hear he is the real deal.

i like this dog very much and probably he is a future siegar.

The best balanced dog in Germany today after Zamp. He tracks absolutely parallel behind despite the deep angulation and long stifle. Contrary to some suggestions, he has a very strong motherline that apart from Jango Furstenberg runs through V Arras Gigelsfelsen to Quando Arminius-Palme and Ute Trienzbachtal (2xVA1) combining two of the strongest bitchlines in GSD history.

Vegas is an excelent Dog, many people expect much form Vegas, just the time to be give the razon, because no body knows if Vegas to be Placed in excelent place for future Siegers Shows in Germany, just to be waiting everybody to nexts Sieger Shows.
