This is a dog pedigree, used by breeders and breed enthusiasts to see the ancestry and line-breeding of that individual dog. The pedigree page also contains links to the dogs siblings and progeny (if any exist). For dog owners with purebred dogs this is an excellent resource to study their dog's lineage.

The Blue Ridge Specialty at the Hagers Town Country Club
Sunday April 7th, 1968 Judge: Margaret M. Megahan
Total entry of 126 Shepherds, 4 points in dogs (12% absent) & bitches (30% absent), but absenteeism cut it to 3 points in each sex. Serious rioting in Washington and Baltimore (USA) are thought to have contributed to this.
Since Class Winners are arranged in that order, in Winners Class, was of course, the junior puppy. Darengo's Sassy owned by Madge Kling, Six months and one week old on that sunny cool April day. Deep and rich in pigment, sturdy in substance, beautifully put together and using all she had, young as she was, she could not be missed. And so, for the third time in 20 years of judging, I had to ask myself a question - How far in show awards should a young puppy go? And, my answer to myself was as it had been twice before. - Just as far as it's quality as a puppy takes it. For little Sassy, as she posed with all the aplomb of a grown-up and stretched out in a smooth, ground covering gait which kept her right up with the "big girls" her quality took her to Reserve Winners Bitch.
Finally, tho not a legitimate part of this show report, two weeks after this show at the Toledo specialty Darengo's Sassy went from the junior puppy class to WB (Winners Bitch) and BOS (Best Opposite Sex).
