"... Terence of Norn, whose appearance in pedigrees is infrequent and generally localized, but who still indicates certain strong characteristics when he is found a few generations back. He was a dog who probably would have achieved his title had there been no war during his prime; a rich darkish-sable dog, with light facings, of good size and bone and extremely good construction, he had one of the best and most correct movements I have ever seen, with a wonderfully powerful hind action. He was an exceedingly shy dog and, though he improved, always looked very miserable at a show, seldom raising his ears; and this, with his rather broad, blunt head, and light markings, detracted considerably from his quality and general appearance. Nevertheless his fine construction could never be overlooked, and since his sire, Laish Wolf of Norn, had an excellent character, and his mother, Genista of Picardy, was by Voss [von Bern], I would not expect a high percentage of bad temperament from him."
Nem and Percy Elliott: The Complete Alsatian, 2nd revised ed. 1974, p. 111.

This is a dog pedigree, used by breeders and breed enthusiasts to see the ancestry and line-breeding of that individual dog. The pedigree page also contains links to the dogs siblings and progeny (if any exist). For dog owners with purebred dogs this is an excellent resource to study their dog's lineage.
