This is a dog pedigree, used by breeders and breed enthusiasts to see the ancestry and line-breeding of that individual dog. The pedigree page also contains links to the dogs siblings and progeny (if any exist). For dog owners with purebred dogs this is an excellent resource to study their dog's lineage.

Some dogs make an indelible impression. Once in a lifetime type dog. One that fulfils every expectation. A noble unassuming representation of the best in the breed. Xyra was one of those dogs.
We met Xyra early in our journey into the German Shepherd breed. She immediately stood out as a cut above the rest as we watched her work along with a few others one weekend. We acquired her a few years later.
There's so much that went into her, she was so much. It's difficult to describe the essence of a being. Xeyra was from one of Germany's top breeders. A breeder with the philosophy a German Shepherd is a working dog as well as a conformation dog. Xeyra was a true example of the 'golden middle'. I recall one day I took her out to the club. Helper specialized in working lines, was able to read a dog and was able to bring out what a dog had to offer. Xeyra's turn. She hadn't been worked in probably two years but there was never a prouder owner when she worked the helper, at the end. The critique was simple. That's a good dog. Nothing more needed to be said.
She represented herself well in the breeding department producing Jasmin, VA5 at the BSZS World Championship. Her offspring were phenomenal. A wonderful family companion and ambassador for the breed. She lived a good long life impacting the breed on two continents and was a valued member of the families that were fortunate to have been associated with her. Her final resting place was with me. A very sad day indeed.
