We had to fantastic litters after Esco - and it was horrifying that the owner wanted to sell a dog like this to a country were the people in fact do not like dogs for what they are. Persons who sell a dog like this to PAKISTAN is only looking for money !! For what we mean - maby the very best son after Arex and maby one of the best producers that never was given a fair chance.. Shame to the owner and the breeder for selling him - a really fantastic male that could have been a fantastic producer for all the breeders in EUROPE !! Words are not enough...

Esco mated only three females in Pakistan, one litter was dead soon after birth, and one litter of three pup survived. I have kept one male for myself, will post picture later

Hi Guys:

Take your fight somewhere else. Fankly we have heard enough and don't care to hear any more. Tiny, if you don't like the dog, don't breed to him and don't get any puppy from him. Enough!!!!!

Tiny, dont care how harder you try you cant take VA1 (PAK)Title from Esco, as he was judged by a SV licience Judge.
Secondly,in your club to rate a dog as VA,it should have an SchHIII title !!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, you keep telling people, they give a dam about you,and your thinking. REST IN PEACE

Well said Mr Tariq. A good specimen dog will remain a good dog either shown at SCP shows or KCP.
SCP is a new club and with time it will grow and good females will also be add to the breeding stock.

warm regards

Well there can be nothing taken away from a good GSD whether he is Esco or Ubor. The fact that his ownership resides in one club or the other does not reflect on the quality of the dog at all. So let us not belittle either of the dogs, no matter which club our loyalties belong to. At the end of the day, hopefully, all of us are GSD lovers. And the dog should always win and be appreciaed.

Any dog who has become VA1 three consecutive times in Norway is bound to be amongst the top representatives of the breed. True test of the GSD male is always his progeny and for that to take place we need to give him atleast 16-24 months of production. Let us all wait and see how his contribution to the GSD breed in Pakistan materialises.

The fact remains that this dog is owned in Pakistan by a member of the SCP. Additionally, the reality is that this particular club does not have the top GSD bitches which is very apparent when one sees their GSD Shows viz-a-viz those of the GSDCP.

Historically, this shortcoming has manifested itself both in their breeding program and choice of purchase and imports. This is also reflected in the progeny of their various VA1s over the years. So the long and short of it all is that Esco, without doubt is a good specimen, needs good breeding bitches which the owning club (SCP)does not have currently.

Intention of this comment is not to fuel the fire but to cntribute an objective point of view.

Mr Tiny, all the comments here under are useless when the person on the otherside does not have a clue what is he talking about. No club is a member of SV, all club are members of WUSV which is the main authority. Please update yourself as your club elders have failed to update you on such issue. Beside this I do not feel the need to discuss anything further with you. There are other things on the forum which might help you improve your knowledge & your impression.
Best of Luck with SV related club

Well Imran, the question is really if this male have an Kkl1 or not?
The norwegian "körung" (no bitework) does not count for an Kkl1, and I can not find any evidence of him obtaining an german körung - Kkl. It is of real interest for us in scandinavia as this male have made three times Auslese in Norway (VA1 2002, VA3 2003 and VA1 2004) without having to show any bitework.

The Körung from Trondheim on 10.02.2002 was an ordinary Norvegian Körung, not an International Körung (Kkl). The judger was Liv Evjen.

A friendly question:

When did he obtain his Kkl1?

This is a dog pedigree, used by breeders and breed enthusiasts to see the ancestry and line-breeding of that individual dog. The pedigree page also contains links to the dogs siblings and progeny (if any exist). For dog owners with purebred dogs this is an excellent resource to study their dog's lineage.
