Breed report

beautiful dog. i have a grandson of flipp pot of his son aiko vom butjenter land(litter brother of arko). i would like to know what happened to this dog. it's just natural for one to wonder what had happened to this dog if you own a dog descended from flipp.

Flipp was a wonderful and very expressive dog who had also made good his work very much. One still hears much good about him and his postbreeding.

Therefore, I is to be had proudly a Flipp daughter in my possession, Flora von der Dunieschenke.

I too lost a lovely young male to torsion. He was fine when I went to bed that night, dead in the morning - he was a kennel dog and I've always been haunted wondering if he could have been saved had I checked him one more time that night. I can only hope he didn't suffer too much.

It is a terrible heartbreak and I'm sorry for your loss. I never saw Flipp, but he looked quite wonderful on his photos. My GSD is a Flick g-son.

Please do not spread any rumours again!!
What is the reason for this action??

Flipp was in my kennel. I am the breeder and the owner! He was one of my best dogs I ever had - for show AND for working !!!
Flipp died at the 26.07.06 because of a stomach turn.

It is still painful for me to realize his death.

I've just (a couple of minutes ago) that this very nice Ghandi son died on 26/07/2006 on the age of 5 years.

I would wish his family a lot of courage to come this loss above.

Dear Ahmad what ever you said you cant prove it because the photo of your female told the whole story to the world u deny from this photo not from sieger show or canti? now you know it there's nobody from abroad who come to your house to see the fact how you deny from this photo and you handle her in show you people show your actual face at this sieger show and you are the person who had many complaints from foreign judges and imran you discussed it so many time at public level now how you people put embargo on dogs sale you have not any answer for this if i talked about more decisions then va3 female deserve at first place

Dear Friends, I must apologize to all of you for the behavior of a few people from our country, who seem to be bent on giving the whole lot a bad name. Allow me to assure you the average member of German Shepherd Dog Club of Pakistan ( GSDCP ) is just so keen, and enthusiastic as anyone else, anywhere else, and is steadily working hard towards improving the standard of the breed in our country. At the same time, there are and shall always be, a few disgruntled ones too, who find it more interesting to spread disinformation. For the benefit of you all, our club was not founded in the 70’s, but in 1981. Our president is not paralyzed for the last 15 years, but hale and hearty, and we did not have 35 dogs in our sieger show, but 48 ( which also happens to be more than last year ). And then to come to the latest accusation, the female in question has not whelped till today ( can be inspected at my house, being partly owned by me!!! ), so could not have been 5 weeks pregnant on the show day ( February 12 ). I do not need to waste any more time or space in negating baseless points, and hope the matter will finally be considered closed by all concerned. This forum is for people to learn and enjoy their love for the Shepherd with fellow hobbyists. Best for all to maintain the atmosphere of friendliness and respect, and to allow everyone to enjoy their hobby to the best. Truth somehow happens to be very tough and resilient, and finally manages to survive all attempts on its life!! One may try to hide it with a lot of effort, so it is very well hidden, but resurface it will, or so we all believe. I apologize once again to you all.

Yes Flipp is still alive. He was T1 at Sieger show which means that he didnt let out. The messageboard only says that Kliff Trollbachtal is dead. I think Kliff died last year by an car accident.

Is this dog still alive? Read from the messageboard that "FLIPP" is dead. Is this the "FLIPP"

All I am saying is when someone singles out a fault and speaks only of this fault it gives the inexperience person a bad impression of an otherwise good dog. Too many times I’ve heard someone critique a dog as poor upper arm, moves close going away and you never hear that this same dog has an excellent head, good topline, outstanding temperament, produces well. People tend generally to single out faults without saying anything about the virtues of the dog. This is all I am saying.
p.s Sorry I meant Natalia

Sorry but reffering to a Dog as a sperm Donor is quiet unfair. He has very good blood/genes in him. And for VA I think we all know its not only appearence that counts but also his performance as a working dog and a Stud dog too! So I guess we'll have to wait and watch what happens at Ulm.. right?

Bilko, will you please stop screamin and use small letters. :)

Yes, sometimes a judges critic is not the truth about a dog either. There are a few VAs with a poor front, but their critic always says "good front"...

MR KOENIG CAN SAY WHAT HE LIKES ABOT THIS DOGS ANGULATION,BUT MY EYES TELL ME DIFFERENT.YES I AGREE THAT HIS PEDIGREE IS VERY INTERESTING BUT A PEDIGREE DOES NOT MAKE A POOR ANGLED DOG BETTER ANGLED!BEING IN THE ARLETT KENNEL HE WILL PROBABLY GET GOOD BITCHES ANYWAY.ANOTHER SPERM DONOR.

Thankyou Sean, If you go through my comment I have only mentioned his front, his hind angulation is fine from where I am. And yes Im unfortunate that I can only go by the picture and the Vedio of the BSZS, I also beleive that no dog is perfect! I love this dogs breeding, fantastic blood. Through his line Im quiet sure he will be a very influential Sire (I beleive very stronly in Bloodlines).

Bilko and visum, Natalie is right, pictures can be deceiving. To often we tend to fault judge a dog, than judge the total dog. Maybe his upper arm can be positioned better (maybe), his rear angulation looks fine to me unless you like an angulation with the lower thigh brushing the ground. I can list more than a few va dogs with less than perfect angulation. Judge the total dog, temperament included. Once Flipp proves himself as a sire you are looking at a future VA. Best of luck at ULM.

Not always can you judge a dog by its picture. According to Mr Koenig, who judged Flipp at BSZS, he has gut front angulations (though looking at the picture, you would never say so, I agree!). Very often you have to see a dog in person in order to be able to judge his anatomy

I totally agree with you his fore hand angulation is real poor. But He has super fantastic blood! So maybe he will produce something.

HOW CAN ANYONE SUGGEST THAT A DOG WITH SUCH POOR ANGULATION IN BOTH FOREHAND AND HINDQUARTER BE A CANDIDATE FOR A FUTURE VA POSITION.THIS IS NOT HOW A GERMAN SHEPHERD SHOULD BE ANGULATED.THIS IS NOT THE WAY FORWARD!
Sean
Posted: Thu Jul 03, 2003 12:15 am
This is easily the best Ghandi son. the way he is bred I expect that he will produce well also. Future VA. Best of luck at ULM.

This is a dog pedigree, used by breeders and breed enthusiasts to see the ancestry and line-breeding of that individual dog. The pedigree page also contains links to the dogs siblings and progeny (if any exist). For dog owners with purebred dogs this is an excellent resource to study their dog's lineage.
