Erko stellt sich in guter Kondition vor. Er ist mittelgroß, mittelkräftig, pigmentstark und hat einen ausdrucksvollen Rüdenschädel. In gutem Ebenmaß, zeigt er eine gute Linienführung und harmonischen Aufbau. Die schöne Oberlinie ist fest und so erlaubt auch der feste Rücken der Vor- und Hinterhand bei guten Winkelungen freie, federnde und kraftvolle Gänge.
