Prager

by Prager on 13 November 2018 - 18:11

Allan1955: C02 does not disappear, except absorption by vegetation or the ever depleting rainforest.

Prager: What about photosynthesis? More CO2 = More vegetation = less CO2. Vegetation includes also plankton and seaweed

Allan1955: Wonder who is going to benefit from this. The fossil fuel producers.

Prager: And what about you? Do you drive car? Fly on a plane? Drive on paved roads,....Any plastic in our house, cloth, shoes, car,.....how are you going to replace it? Do you want to go back to stone age? :) Just saying.

Allan1955:The Freon gas Hoax. LOL
Freon was made by DuPont and it is a registered patend trade mark. This has been for decades the only refrigeration gas in the word. the goose with the golden egg.
Yet you claim the hoax is perpetrated by DuPont.

Prager: You missed my point entirely. DuPont makes he new refrigerants which had to replace Freon. You know how much money they made . THEY DO NOT CARE if they sell you freon or R134 .
And please explain to me how does the Freon get into the Ozone layer if it is heavier then air.

Allan1955: If you agree that C02 is a greenhouse gas then you do the math.

Prager: The biggest greenhouse gas is H2O - YES Water. The CO2's greenhouse effect in comparison to water vapor effect is trivially small. Insignificant. The greenhouse effect of CO2 doomsday sayers are usually describing the increase of CO2 in air by chart called "Hockey stick" chart. This chart is telling us that CO2 is increasing logarithmically and soon we are all going to die This chart is total HOAX because CO2 can not be dissolved in the air indefinitely! That is against the laws of physics. There is a limit to the saturation of CO2 in the air. After that CO2 just does not dissolve in the air this Greenhouse effect stops growing - insignificant as it is.

I can go on and on....

The oceans are warming. The oceans are warming.

Really? Better read this.

I hope this winter is cooler Joanro, last winter was barely there.  This year we have had weather in the high 90's with high humidity until late October.  Now it is almost Thanksgiving and we had our second day of temps in the mid 70's, tomorrow we are back to the 80's again.  Sigh, I really miss winter........

Prager: Everything you wrote came out of the big the big swindle. This video they call documentary came out after the climate gate from Wikileaks which has been proven bogus. The big swindle is a compilation old interviews, for example you will see a much younger Dr P. Micheals from the fox interview.

Nothing in the video is based on hard facts, only assumptions. For example if you claim that scientist are manipulating parameters on computer models then you make a model to proof that otherwise you just assuming that is the case.  The Russian model is the accurate one Dr. Micheal says in the interview. Yes wright ,since when do we trust Russian intelligence, especially when the Russian economy depends on the export of fossil fuel

And yet they suggest that every respectable western  organization is in on it. If true it would be easily proven you might think. These are merely examples i could go on and on.

Like i said before i have seen the video a couple of times and did my own research of the arguments presented, because i like to consider both sides.

I suggest you do the same.

Keep an open mind and forget political colors.

Mindhunt, you living in Florda, now, right?
I lived in Florda all my life till I finally left in '85 because I could not stand the humidity and heat any longer.
It has ALWAYS been hot and humid down there, year round. This is still fall, so come " winter" you might get lucky if it gets into the 60's . When I was a kid in school, I did not know what kids from " off" were talking about when they spoke of ' Fall' and 'spring'.....to me, winter meant getting the sweaters out from the bottom drawer.

In fact, when I moved to the Carolinas, I did not even own a coat nor jacket nor winter gloves. If you want winter, move north, because Florda has for ever been known for extremely mild winters....hint: that's why the "snow birds" head south to Florda every winter. O:-)

Hey ML, we still have snow on the ground around here! Eight inches actually, before the mixed stuff came. Looks like another dusting coming soon. I trust your plow is all spruced up and ready for a cold winter! Wishing you a delicious and Happy a Thanksgiving! Time to make the pies! 🥧🥧🥧🦃🦃🦃

Mindhunt, the cold came quickly this year! Still digging out the hats, gloves and boots and need to pack away the sandals and shorts. I hate the transition of the wardrobes but it must be done. Mojo already had his first good roll in the snow. So funny that he still loves to do this!❄️❄️❄️

Hi Bee,

We got around the same amount, then it changed to rain, real heavy stuff to plow. But it is all done. LOL

With the amount of rain we have had here in the northeast, we are going to get buried with snow this year if the same pattern of moisture continues.

Good to hear from you, Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
