The ONLY bashing of any bite work has been by the but hert wanna bes. Unsuspecting buyers of what? What don't they suspect?
There are always going to be individuals in the gsd world who think they are god's gift and so  have an obligation to force their overbearing will upon the 'unsuspecting masses' who are supposed to buy from them only....at all cost, the overbearing but hert will try to get their message out that they are the voice of truth for the gsd breed and all others should eat $h[t and die.
The irony is that the person the wanna be is complaining about, isn't trying to sell dogs like the wanna be is.  He's complaining about every video posted by someone he perceives as competition for puppy buyers. The 'unsuspecting buyers' are all yours.

Hup hup.

Brady and Swarn made my day, just read your post - but honestly - I don´t understand it, Joanro.

What does But Hert mean?
What does Hup hup mean?
Who is trying to sell puppies in this topic?

Sorry, I am German, I simply don´t understand right now.

Susie, you'll have to excuse the born and raised Americans, they have trouble with English as their first language.

by Bavarian Wagon on 26 April 2017 - 18:04

What I’ve come to realize about Americans is that what makes this country great…is also what makes it bad. Americans don’t like regulations, they don’t like rules. That lack of regulations allows us the freedom to do a lot of things that people in other countries can’t do. Use e-collars, prongs, train in bite sport, crate our animals, etc. That same lack of regulation and the general feeling of disdain for any proposed regulation is also what keeps standards low/non-existent for things like breeding dogs. Most will fight you tooth and nail to keep it that way in order to not have to actually follow the standards. They’ll claim to follow them, but the freedom of not having any also allows them to once in a while, or even consistently do things that aren’t to that “standard they claim to hold themselves to.”

In America…the burden of research/finding a good dog sits with the consumer and the majority of breeders want to keep it that way. They don’t want the regular person finding out that a puppy is over priced, or that they’re not doing things as well as someone else is doing. Most breeders probably don’t want consumers to know a “breed test” even exists for GSDs because the last thing they need is people questioning them about it and having to explain themselves. Many will even discredit or lie about the test claiming it creates dangerous dogs and dogs which aren't bred from biting parents are safer for families. Most breeders want the gap of information from those in the circle and those outside to exist because that’s how they’re able to convince buyers and also not give buyers any objective data to compare to their competitors. It’s an imperfect market, and that’s how the majority are able to profit. Truthfully…it’s almost like an unspoken cartel, and anyone that goes against the cartel or tries to give away their secrets gets attacked with the full might of that cartel. Even the “better” members of that cartel won’t say anything negative about it…they fear the mob…and the mob can greatly affect your livelihood.

Unfortunately…public perception and public reviews/recommendations affect puppy sales much more than any accomplishments by the actual breeder or breeding pair. It’s why there is such a battle to keep people in the dark and just expect them to go off of what other’s say. The constant in fighting of what sport is better, if sport/work is more important all just serves to confuse the consumer and allow breeders to convince them using emotion and biased information rather than facts and objective evidence.

Susie, BW is expert on all things and so it appears has answered you on my behalf. I have no doubt he will expound on his explanation of what I said if you ask him ( or not ask, he will opine anyway). Seems he believes he knows more about me than I do, and so should speak in my stead.

Funny how these key board warriors know so much through their shallow world on the net.:-)

Joan's posting style is becoming more erratic just like the time before her last mental breakdown.

So, pete, you're an online psychiatrist now?
