Kit Kat
what if he/she lives in the house? and is not " locked across the yard"
lol

So this dog is going to be an actual K9 working the streets or someone's idea of what a K9 is to satisfy some personal insecurities when going out to get the mail?

What do you mean Minutha...is there a question there.

I wouldn t expect much problem walking to the mailbox..but you better believe IF there was one, my dog has my back!

I reread the whole thread, and it does appear minutha/shawni one and the same, lol...personality disorder maybe...if you don t know who you are, you can t know your dog.
AND...I KNOW OF NOT A ONE LEO THAT WOULD START OUT WITH A PUP THAT ACTS LIKE THAT AS WHAT IS WANTED FOR POLICE K9...
just my opinion, i myself provide police their k9's

Kitkat
I live in NYC and have 1 dog. Im not in LE , Im in academia. I do not have a Vom Bismack dog. I like them though.
The fact that you are insisting I am Shawnicus says a lot about your ability to make a proper conclusion; and this also rides on the coat tails of everything you have said about dogs on here. And ditto for SS two thumbs up.
I reasonable believe admin is quiet on this ( albiet smarter ) because the know our ip addresses are from two diffetent states/cities.

I thought one of the admins confirmed you are not the same person in a post some weeks ago? I read Kitkat's post to be saying you both have the same mistaken concept of what a good GSD is supposed to be.

When your untouchable, beyond-civil dog bloats and torsions, and a vet can't even examine the dog until it's been drugged down, I sure hope that 'toughness' you guys strove to preserve is sufficient to keep the dog alive through a process that will be much more drawn out than otherwise necessary, as well as through the recovery period. A dead dog doesn't do much protecting of anyone, least of all itself.

In first-world societies today, there is simply no place for a dog that has to be insulated from the attentions of benign strangers lest it respond with aggression.

So this is going to be an LEO dog that doesn't work in LE?
