There really is nothing as breathtaking as the sight of a good dog experiencing the joy and vitality that is a product of a balanced, healthy life. I have always seen the GSD as a purpose-driven breed, and there are so many satisfying "jobs" that can be appropriate for certain dogs. If you have a clear-headed, confident, trainable dog matched up with the right person and the right purpose, then there is not much fault you can find unless you are simply determined to do so.
