Recipe
8 ozs liver
1 egg
tsp garlic (I have a jar)
Blend
then add
6 tbsp plain flour
6 tbsp milk

Cook 20 mins 180 degrees

cool 1 hour. I made a cake but if cooked on a flat tray can cut into cubes to use for training.

The milk is a new addition on me - must have seen
about 5 different recipes for livercake over the years,
that's the first one with milk added, I think.

You are SO lucky to be able to run your dogs in such
wonderful countryside.

Yes I agree but best out of season as there are a lot of tourists!

Yeah I'm sure (I have been one of those !)

What about sheep (the animal variety) ?

Not so many loose sheep as there used to be probably since the foot and mouth outbreak some years back. I wouldnt let my dogs loose on the high fells. I think all dogs would chase given half a chance and farmers are allowed to shoot your dog if they even think its molesting stock. There's always the people that tell you 'their dog would never chase sheep' and dont put them on lead. I have seen the softest pooch turn into a devil when out of sight of the owner.

I wish everybody with dogs in rural areas was as sensible as you seem to be ! Top marks for that post, Tangsd Star

Its typically city folk visiting rural areas and weekend hobby farmers that cause the problems resulting in their dogs getting shot.
