Deformed.

As hindquarter angulation gets deeper, the hip joint gets lower, the hock clearance from ground gets less and hock's open does not achieve full degree .When rear is very deeply angulated combined with a long hock, as this hock moves froward foot nails would scratch on the ground as happens with ASL. What saves the nails of WGSL is the relatively shorter hock other wise it is no better. WGSL is no better in rear depth, just look at the latest siegerin in 2015 Cristal di Casa Massarelli to recognize how deep the rear has gotten, I think she has the deepest rear angulation in the history of GSD so far  .

And there it is, Joanro, those pictures you have up of the pup, that to me is the conformation that is beautiful. I love that body type. Beautiful proportions, straight back, nice tight toes, and great muscle tone, too - solid and strong. Gorgeous pup!

The wolf trot and the show-line GSD trot is so different, it's not even comparable. My bet is on the effortless, distance-covering, light-footed wolf-type trot as a superior movement.
