Sorry Red, which sentence of mine is "also poor grammar" ?  Interesting that after all you have contributed on these OT threds you still agree with Kinalog's statement: "First of all, there is no such thing as an atheist. The correct term is Pagan."   I don't understand what Kinalog means by 'first of all' - all what ?

&,FYI  Kinalog,  Paganism - or being a 'heathen' - clearly exists as a non-belief in any god(s), but often is taken to substitute other,  e.g. fertility,  rituals for worship, it is usually regarded as a term to encompass an ignorance of any religion or supreme 'being'.  While it may overlap Atheism, the latter is a well thought out denial of the existence of any god or gods.   See e.g. philosophical statements by Socrates.  Atheists grasp that there are logical conflicts between Science and Religion.   Therefore, atheists exist.

You don't have to sacrifice a goat to some god to be considered a pagan. People who say they do not worship or believe in any god still have a value system and a basis for their system of values. And if they believe that their main goal in life is to pursue certain pleasures or to make money and be powerful, and the welfare of others in the community is easily rationalized away in this pursuit, I do not care how sophisticated this person feels they are. They have made something their god and they are savages. You can call yourself an atheist and you can also put a tuxedo on a goat.

Because you don't HAVE to sacrifice goats to be a Pagan, does
not make all Atheists into Pagans.

Most Pagans I have ever heard about or seen quoted would
apparently not have the disregard for the welfare of other people
that your description implies. Atheists IME almost certainly would
not do so either. [We leave all that to the self-proclaimed religious,
of whichever denomination !]

Kinalog, I would very much like to see you PUT a tuxedo on a
goat, even a dead one. 'Bout as impossible a task as getting
the christians on here to think logically, I reckon.

I am still waiting for the world to end after all those eclipses and blood moons. Then someone talks about opening eyes. My eyes and mind are wide open to proof and since there is none forthcoming, I will just LOL.
