Gsdtravels, when you have presupposition mind that everything must be 65 million years old because that's your Bible says so (geological column), it's sad.... Perhaps those red blood cells falls into young earth model. I don't believe those blood cells can be preserve for millions of years lol. Btw you should watch the video that I gave you, very educational!!!!!

BTW Shtal, when any of your YECs have done like Mary Schweitzer, done the actual work, submitted for review and carry any actual validity, you let me know and I'll be happy to take a look. Deal?

I'm not against her work, she did good job actually....Plus her work was accepted because she believes in evolution...she took evidence and added assumption to her work in regards millions of years which is why I wanted you too watch short video: I will repost: https://youtu.be/XEtL6XjRqMg

Shtal what you think of hovinds plan in his own words to bring in gods law and thus kill about every American?

Is the felon hovind a terrorist or just criminally insane??

BTW you are in no position to judge the merit of scientific works, you believe a magic guy spoke and all the species of plants and animals just appeared at the same time 4000 years ago.....except for women, god made a mate for every othes sexual species ie billions of them but forgot to make a mate for the only human DOH!!!

Shtal, it doesn't matter whether she believes in creationism or accepts evolution, what matters is the evidence. Got it? Now, she may be headed in a direction where she'll eventually hit a roadblock, because there will also be science behind the possibility of blood cells surviving that long and you can mark my words, if her claims end up being valid, there will plenty of research into why. In other words, it STILL doesn't disprove evolution. And even if the Theory of Evolution were proved wrong on all counts tomorrow, that would NOT validate Creationism, you still have to come up with evidence.

Shtal, if creationism is true, why do the YECs keep trying to disprove evolution instead of trying to prove creationism? Why aren't they finding evidence hand over fist in order to prove THEIR claims of a supernatural being? Why don't they just leave evolution alone and go out and get the actual evidence for AT LEAST the possibility that, not only IS there a supernatural being, but that it is your particular version of your particular god?

Instead of doing nothing but refuting others' claims, why don't they come up with claims of their own that can be submitted for review? Put your money where your mouth is and prove it!

"Good to see you BTW, it's been a while, hope you are well!"

Thank you; all is good!  I pop in from time to time but tend to avoid the OT forum in favor of...get this...actually discussing dogs!  An image

I hear ya Keith, but the only serious thing I've done with my dog after all the upheaval in my life, is train him to be a pet. I've been seeing some wobble in his hind legs and now they're starting to go out from under him. He fell yesterday when he lifted his leg to pee. I'm dying inside, I've known old age is right around the corner, but not only am I not ready for this, it couldn't have come at a worse time. I never had his hips done, but I'm pretty sure it's HD, so there are treatments I can try, but it'll never be the same. My biggest problem with him is, he doesn't have an "off" button, he goes full steam ahead to whatever he's after at the moment. I have a gate on the stairs at my entrance, but the opening is too wide going upstairs and he's up and down all the time. Two days ago, he fell on the steps twice. I've sold my house, the closing is Friday and the following week, I'm moving to Florida. I don't even know how I'm going to get him in and out of my Jeep, his very thing is cruising without a lid, he lives for it. The good news is, I'm already familiar with a good Vet in the area I'm headed. This dog is more to me than anybody will ever know, we've been through a whole lotta hell together and we always had each other to lean on and have fun, it kept us moving forward. He's taught me more than any human in my life, I'll do whatever is right by him. I've never known such a loyal living being, to me anyway. He's more loyal than any person that's ever been in my life, I rely on him for strength, silliness, exercise and companionship. I don't know how to be without him.
