I can't imagine a more fitting memorial for your beloved companions, Beth.

The tears are streaming down my face here, Tig!

When I saw you post the other day, my first thought was, "I wonder how Nemo is doing", but knowing how very old he was getting to be, I was afraid to ask. :( So sorry for your loss! But how lucky you were to share your life with him!!

BTW, that photo of him and Remy is still up on Linda Shaw's site, the one where Remy is doing his "KISS" imitation!

What a Great CELEBRATION of Life...We should remember the great times and fun and love our dogs have brought us...

When our dogs pass...We have to remember that we will see them again and that they'll be around us all the time...

When I think of my dogs that have passed..."I SMILE"...because I will see them again and feel their presence everyday...

It's also very therapeutic to remember our passed dogs with others...I love to see their pictures and hear the stories...What a great story...Thanks for sharing...

At the end it´s always about character and love.
Thank you so much for this post - a big guy went home.

What a beautiful tribute-most of all because it hurt so much to write it, I am sure. But he deserved every word and his life was made whole by his partnership with you, as you gave him the chance to do what his heart was meant to do: care for his flock--in whatever form they appeared. Nemo could not have achieved his true potential to heal and bring such joy without your loving stewardship. He is up in heaven now with his dearest devotee, Lark SchH3 FH2 UDTX, who from the moment she saw him, worshipped him. They are resting now on God's sofa, Lark's big head snugged up to his little bright face. Looking down, and pleased.

Thank you for sharing this tribute and memorial of Nemo. Sometimes, we are blessed with a very special dog--and sometimes, we get to spend a goodly number of years with that special dog. Julia also brought me a very special dog, way back in 1998 or '99 -- she seems talented at finding these special dogs and getting them to where they need to be.

A very fine tribute to such a dog; my tears are flowing. As I picture your Nemo, I also see my Kali. These special dogs give us so much, & we are the emptier for their passing.
Thank you for sharing such a gift,
jackie harris
