Emezgsd, the OP Ekana seems to think they know all that already.

While most is very true, it isn't what the thred is about.  Apparently

what Ekana is doing is warning people that having purchased from

the kennel, the breeder concerned has failed to make good on promises

e.g. to forward a video and copies of health results certificates.  I would

support others on here who say Ekana has every right to do that, but the

OP ought to be aware that it isn't anything new, lots of breeders do not

fulfill everything they say they will, especially where the buyer can

trace the same documentation for themself from other sources.  As

there is no legal power on earth that can make anybody keep their promises

if they do not form part of a Contract defined as legitimate by  the Law local

to the OP, reckon Ekana is on a non-starter.  Yes of course it would be nice

if every GSD breeder - well, everybody - kept all their promises ;  but where

anyone doesn't, do we really need to fill the pages of forums such as PDB

naming them ?  Better surely to take it to Small Claims Court, if at all possible,

then record the verdict if it is in the OP's favour ?   And save most of the thred

space for warnings about kennels who really scam their customers, take the

money but don't produce a dog, hand over very sick puppies, keep their stock

in appalling conditons etc.

Provided you receive Registration papers, you do not actually need to produce

the pup's PARENTS  hip and elbow results etc further down the line, for any

breeding, working or Showing regulations I am aware of.  Which is probably

why some breeders are lax about them.   If there is more to it - ie some doubt

about the truth of the pedigree or whatever, that really ought to have been

sorted out or avoided PRE PURCHASE  is all I think most people are saying,

and that as experienced breeders themselves they would not have taken such

details on trust / without doing their own homework/verification.  So posters are

wondering about the OP's claims to experience and due diligence.

Believe me, I DO AGREE if a breeder says they will send on anything, they ought

to do it.  My 'mentor' was pretty good about the documentation etc that went with

her puppies;  and I'd like to think that, were I a breeder, I would be the same.  But

castigating others if they are NOT ?  Waste of time IMO.
