Only people who don´t train don´t know, Joanro ...
As soon as people train, they know ( and "training" means working with several dogs, not with just one ...)

But let´s be honest, in reality most of the people buying titled dogs are not interested in the dogs, but in the titles only.
They wouldn´t even know how to handle a "real" dog ( neither good for the new owner nor good for the dog ).

Not trying to make a bad dog look good, Yogi, but for how long did you know this young female before you tested her?
She is pretty young, was bonded to someone, maybe hasn´t been out of her homezone before, and has to start a new life now ...
Some "protection" dogs tend to work for their handlers, but for doing so, they need to bond.

a lot of people are fooled easy, some dogs you loose the sleeve and they look civil................................till the moment the helper looses the stick/whip  too, than its all over

also some famous seminair giving people have a new trainingtrick to make the dogs look like they are civil, they teach the dogs the body is prey too , looks great

"... but when someone set a video to make the dog look like what it is not then i have a problem ."
You are right.

Duke is spot on,a lot of dogs are used to "attack" stick/whip, they are trained to bite the body instead of the sleeve, it´s prey and training, nothing else. Looks good, as long as there is no real pressure.

But again, how much percent of potential buyers are either able to see the difference or are able to test the dog in question? Most of them will believe they bought a real dog for the rest of their life...

Yogi - 2 days, 2 weeks and sometimes six months may not be long enough and, like you say if it is there it is there,  however, until the dog is comfortable with all of the changes to it's life and especially the bonding then not much may happen at all.  From what you say I think that you have expected too much too soon.  It could be that if you make a few changes in the way that you do things the situation will start to change.  Everyone has made the mistake that by doing what they have always done is the best way.  Think and act outside of that box and perhaps just go back to square one.

Best of luck.

Lowering the bar for evaluating a dog only lowers the quality of dogs.

mac if that is the case every time she goes to new ground she will freeze .that no good these dog need to go where ever they are when ever u need them if she freeze once she will do it again .you started this thread this is the decline of the gsd week nerve but yet you want to push on and give her more time to settle nerve is nerve she should have even want to protect herself but nothing as people have said she might do sport or a good family dog either way if she does not want to work i would not put her under that strain when she is happier chasing a ball

".......until the dog is comfortable with all of the changes to it's life.....not much may happen at all."

Really? Adaptability is a breed trait and without it, as this sentence describes, there can be no working dog.
