I must agree with Jenni, last summer I imported a male from the Netherlands. I bred him to 3 females, and all come up empty. So I had him tested at my vet last month, and he has an excellent sperm count. My vet said due to many reasons he could have been temporarily sterile. High heat, stress from shipping, an infection, or maybe the NexGuard I had him on, which is NOT tested on breeding animals. So needless to say he is no longer on that and we will try him in the spring. Males can be temporarily infertile for numerous reasons, and it shouldnt be blamed on the sellers if the buyers didn't ask for either a vet check for fertility, or a guarantee of fertility, PRIOR to purchase, it is not the sellers fault.  I've been told that Fedor is being bought back by Rheinhardt Kennels, and that they have the vet record of sperm count to give the unhappy buyers to prove he was NOT sterile at time of purchase.  So hopefully everything has been worked out!
