I truly hope for the sake of the breed that he keeps his fingers off of the Working Lines. Omg Smile

Wowza... This dude just keeps getting better and better...

Working lines too now? I'd like to know who's the former owner of that male too tbh, does the person even know this dude is flipping the dog like that?

Hard to imagine someone not being in the land of facebook, but one never knows.

When I sold Linus, it was not make money off of him.  It was to give him a forever home due to the fact that he was sterile and a dominant male (who WOULD NEVER accept another male in his presence).  There was no reason to keep promoting a dog that was outstanding in every way; yet could not help the breed out as a whole.  No, my dogs are not my job; and I keep back my own progeny (and donate many as service dogs and families that have tragically lost their beloved dogs).  Having 4 top males (VERY ACCOMPLISHED MALES) on my property would not allow me to keep another dominant male, even as a pet/companion; therefore, Linus was sold as a companion dog to a gentleman who wanted to learn how to  be a Schutzhund handler.

The AKC has record of Linus competing in April, 2014, at an agility trial... same AKC# as the Linus that I sold...  So, many questions need to be answered.

I just saw the information on that Facebook page.  Anyone can tattoo a dog with a certain number.  I KNOW for a fact that Linus' tatto was extremely hard to read and if you didn't have his Annentafel to tell you what it was, you may be very confused.  I also know that the dog pictured has more coat on him than Linus ever had.  He was a very close coated dog (even in the cold months), was much shorter in the body, and doesn't have the same front assembly as the dog shown.....Furthermore, the dog on the Facebook page does NOT have the same head type as Linus; and the pasterns look extremely weak (which Linus had shorter, stronger pasterns)  I know all of this because I worked the dog; knew the dog personally very well (looks, temperament, physical attributes); and have his DNA in my files.

Cesna, I FULLY believe in what you did as far as placement. The funny thing is, he is now being caught in his lies and fumbling around on that Truth page trying to justify his different stories. He is a scam and scum and the actual truth will be known soon.

Cesna, are we touching on the possibility of your linus's identity actually being stolen?

I do not doubt you, after reading up some... very little can come forward that would surprise me regarding this individual...

Just leads to the next question... If that wasn't the real Linus he were attempting to pimp out... Who is that dog, or was I should say?

CvWRK, I think the truth may finally come out. People are learning he is a scam

Hopefully.

I feel bad for the people, and the dogs, involved tbh.

Cept, well... that individual.

I do believe that the identity of the dog was stolen...  I do NOT believe for one second that the dog on that Facebook page is Linus vom Baruther Land...  Linus was not an easy for a woman to handle; hence the reason I sold him as a companion to a gentleman and not a woman.  LInus was tough as nails, and had a mind of his own at times.  (I remember the Sieger Show in Dallas in 2011...He had been PERFECT in training....UNTIL the show and refused to heel to the blind; which he had always done in practice with amazing focus on me)...  Hence we were DQ'd and he was not able to be shown.  He just gave me the 'finger' and off he went...I was rather amused because he knew exactly what he was doing... Would he have made VA?  Possibly...But I will never know now.....  Very intelligent, mind and body strong, and could absolutely power punch a helper any day...

I placed Linus with the person to whom he was sold, in the best interest of the dog.... I honestly believed that Linus would be a great sporting dog; and the person could learn a lot from him as a first time handler

The good news is this fraud is getting called out. He continues to say that he has Linus' papers, which is scary.
