Silbersee

Continued:
Since your dog is black as well, you also have to understand that there is not much you can hide with him. Everything is highly visible! We know!
Here is my husband's young black male at different ages and stacks, so you can see how different the topline can look!
First one at about 7 months:

This one was done by Magicon, a professional photographer in Germany at around 12 months of age (he was a bit out of coat):

And this one was done at a show when he was 15 months old (he was bridged in that one - meaning that the front legs were not completely in line with his withers, plus his sloping croup is more pronounced since the handler pulled the rear inside leg under him):

Hope that all makes sense?

Awsome!! I don't know if it makes a difference or not, but Nero is barely 17months old and he's blowing his coat. Lol. I never noticed any dip until you just pointed it out. Thank you!

I absolutely know what your talking about when it comes to loads and loads of pictures!! I think we took around 50 or so and these were the best out of them. The others were him twilrling and jumping and acting like a goofus. Lol.

By conditioning, do you mean something along the lines of roadwork and hills?

Thanks bunches. Again, I really appreciate the info.

Conditioning: Yes, pull training on hills or in the woods! Swimming is also excellent, but no bicycling. That is not good for the back ligaments - they get loose!
I don't know if his dip behind the wither is usually absent when he is in full coat, or if it is just more pronounced when he is blowing coat. That is for you to decide upon comparing photos. The age should not make a difference at all anymore.

Melissa,
I cannot help you with the stacking as I'm new to all this myself but, I have to comment on the countryside-it's beautiful :)
Also, I tried to get some stacked pictures of my boy today and had to laugh when you said yours was jumping all over you. (like a goofus)

My batteries died before I got a good picture, and it was in the down-stay! Obviously,  I'm still working on his obedience :/
Good luck with your boy!

One of the many reasons why I moved to NC. It is absolutely gorgeous!! The land behind me is farmland where they grow feed corn and soybeans. There are a couple thousand acres there and the people who own it are gacious enough to let us use it for tracking and shooting :)

Nero is nothing but a giant goofey puppy. He would much rather be out there tracking then standing still posing for pictures. He's a lean mean tracking machine!! Lol.
