Oh, I like your feigned hurt feelings about my little joke. Tongue Smile

Perhaps Bomber just prefers to be scrubbed down by someone better looking.

Ouch. That stung a little. :)

I knew you were still reading. Ha!

Let's not derail anymore- we can take this idle banter back to email.

Sorry, Steve.

A couple of Private mails since i posted. Saying why not go to Tom through Bomber or Hank then go on to Javir in the next Generation. Yes, quite a good way to go. Whatever happens is 12 months away yet. and of course the Males have to be available at that time. Just making plans in my head at the moment but i am looking further ahead than the one generation and i want to keep a strong balance of both Javir lines and Tom both sides of the breeding. One thing i will be looking for is one or two strong Females. When Gina is mated to carry on. If i see the females in the litter lack anything the breeding will stop there; Some may not agree but this is the way i have bred a  Top line of Racing pigeons over 60 years. If the females come out strong and work well then i know the line is still strong and will take another generation

I agree with breeding on females.

I'd go with either Bomber or Hank (but that's just me... very un-educated). I've seen a few Javir pups and they are just not my type of dogs. I think rather than doubling up on him, I'd rather go for something a little different to try and balance things out. But that is just me. :)

As you probably know i am a IPO Sports fan and The Dogs coming from Javir are doing very well over here in Europe as one says in another thread there are at least three direct Children of Javir in this years WUSV and of course Kummel is a Grandson of Javir i fancy there may be more in this Championship from him and these Dogs no matter how they fare in the WUSV are very good Dogs indeed to ever qualify for such an event so they must have some talent of one thing or another. and that is what i am going on. and again Tom is well represented again in this WUSV through Vito and such like children and he needs no introduction to anyone for passing on his talent and winning genes onto other Generations. and i know several Police Dogs working over here with his lines. There are several direct from Vito in the WUSV and of course both Mr Evans Bomber and Hank are sons of Vito. It all boils down to which one will complement Gina best.
In the IPO Sport these are two lines are very strong and my idea is too carry on both lines in one Dog and the first generation is only a starting point. So no matter which way it goes Gina to Kummel or Gina to Bomber or Hank it will balance out more in the next generation should that apply. Probably the difference between me to some other people is this. I am not interested in any finance one may gain from breeding a litter.in my case it will certainly run at a loss.
I know i own a very good Female bred right and she has all one could want in a Female of the breed, MY opinion and many others over here plus the fact i have had around 7 people from different parts of the world including the USA wanting to buy her. She is a class Female and i am lucky to own her. Should it get to the stage of a mating from one of her Children and that Dog meaning her Pup will have to meet everything i want to see in a Dog regards its physical attibutes, Health and Temprament will already have been fully tested? It will have to go to IPO 3 and its Hips and Elbows a1. It will have to be Korclassed. so about every thing a dog must have to be breed worthy. that is most important to me i would never breed from a dog without these qualifcations. So If i do everything i can to do it right then hopefully the outcome will be okay. as i said i have been interested in breeding for a long time so i know the pitfalls, but so long as you try and do everything correct then it is out of your hands so to speak, we cannot control what we cannot see, and mother nature has ways of kicking us when we least expect it but other times makes us very happy
But there is plenty of time and as i said will the 3 Dogs be available in 12 months time; all this is me planning ahead and putting it down in print

Hi Steve,  When you have pups please let me know. Jami IPO II  is still going well. I retired from veterinary medicine last May. I think of you daily, hugs my friend.
Always,
