Kim, he's referring to your dogs' titles. Check the "who would want a dog like this" thread and you'll get the joke. ;)

whiping brow.......relief.
i was hoping it wasn't that a puppy of mine actually bit someone and wasn't told of it.
i do my best to keep an open relationship with the owner of each puppy.

first off, I apologize to SM if my poor wording offended her. I have met her and a couple of her dogs and consider her a tribute to the GSD world in the U.S. From high protection awards on her dog on a national level to her choice of studs, often forgoing top VA dogs for proven working ability. I've kept up closely with her program, including dogs she has placed not from her breeding and IMO, this is a very top breeder.

second, I'm not going to apologize for my opinion that a GSD should be very willing and able to bite. not indiscriminately, but pretty damn quick should the need arise.

third, no way am I apologizing to some keyboard fruitcake who questions someone wanting a biting dog in one thread and congratulates someone in another, who seems to be breeding dogs, IMO only, very willing and able to act in a real world situation.

lol at the high fastball comment, because that's exactly what it was. I probably should have thrown a change up.

again, I apologize SM for not being more clear.

ditto.......

For me, a GSD must be trainable and have a genetic grip. It must be able to track, learn obedience and protection, it must be loyal almost to a fault. AND must be able to live within a family. Bravo is all of that, I've been working with him very slowly, sometimes due to my past rushing and ruining dogs and partly due to not wanting to spend so much time and money on a dog who's hips and elbow don't pan out and partly due to the lack of support - clubs and trials in my area.

I've fixed the clubs and trials in the area, his hips and elbows have panned out.........he has all the basics.....now its time to get going on his titles!

Rik, we're OK.

Its amazing how much flack a person gets by forgoing the "favored" studs to go with one with fewer titles and more instincutal ability.

A bit of clarification........
Its amazing how much flack a person gets by forgoing the "favored" studs to go with one with fewer SHOW titles, yet more instinctual ability and true confidence and sound temperament.

He's officially on the OFA site........
