I use "heel" as a command for regular heel and "foos" for focused heeling.
in AKC ring, the judges loved the focused heeling, and when Nord and Italo's OB was complete the onlookers clapped.
i wasn't the one handling them, so i had time to see and hear people's responses.
we are talking about 2 different behaviors and therefore 2 different commands are used.
i also use "lets walk" for a completely casual walk where the dog is allowed to forge or lag a bit.
