How lucky you were to have such a Great bond with such a Great dog...Whenever I lose one of mine and it's definitely a sad time...I have to think of the Good Times and not delve on the sadness his absence makes...
So I make it a point to be thinking of the Good Times we had together and that someday...Hopefully I'll be meeting him and all the others before...Just across the Rainbow Bridge...

RIP Enno...You were a Good Boy up 'til the very end...You're in God's hands now...

Love all the photos of Enno and your other dogs. The one of Enno taken near Christmas got me a little choked up. Did the red harness he wore allow you to help him get up or why did he wear it? My female is turning 11 this fall and I dread the day she leaves me which, hopefully, won't be for several more years. Sorry again for your loss, it's never easy to lose a friend...

Thank you andhourspass for your kind words.Yes the red harness was to help him stand but the last few months I had a cart for Enno to help him walk.
The name of the harness is Ruffwear it worked really well for him.

andhourspass, I found this harness extremely helpful when my old girls started needing help doing stairs in their last year or two... I particularly like the fact that it supports both the front and back of the dog; I think it's also a plus that it's a two-piece unit, so it gives you the option of just using the front section in instances where that's all the dog needs at that time. 

 

I'm sorry to hear about the passing of your beloved fur son. My full condolences to you and those who knew him well. He was certainly a great looking dog.
