omg... I was browsing thru the forums and saw 'her' name...Eva Berg!!! I too had dealings with her  a few years back when she "rescued" a dog from a neighboring county shelter. After having the dog for a few weeks in her 'rescue' which at that time was in the Pittsburgh area, she contacted me and threatened to have the dog pts if I didn't have it picked up within 24 hours...I was just a volunteer with the shelter but she kept contacting me.... She was very very unstable and actually scarey... looking up IP addresses to find out where people were located who emailed her... and always threatening to sue!  Are you aware of her incident with a dog she adopted from an Ohio shelter which tore her face up and she DID sue the shelter volunteer who helped her get this dog? I can't believe she's still doing rescue...God forbid if she's 'missing' she'll just move elsewhere and continue doing rescue..She's been all over the country... I hope she can be stopped !!! Word needs to be passed along on her activities!!

No,  I wasn't on this forum when she was causing problems... anything she said or did on here wouldn't surprise me much.  She had to get like 70-some stitches in her face and cosmetic surgery after the dog bite incident. . . it was her own fault... she was told about the dog's tempermentl from the shelter she was getting it from but ignored the warnings when she met the dog... From what I  was told she jumped out of her car and ran to the dog and dropped down and flung her arms around it's neck... and the dog attacked her.. did a job on her. I have continued over the years (must have been at least 5-6 yrs ago) to see if I could find any info on her or rescue in her name to warn  my local shelters about her and get her on DNA lists. Obviously she's managed to stay 'under the radar' with her rescue which were probably private.. She's a strange person.

I made her "lawsuit" list a couple of years ago, but just figured it hadn't come my turn yet.

Jeanette is the animal officer in charge of these dogs.  And she told me that I can publish her name and e mail address here here and elsewhere. Thus please feel free to publish it on other forums in order to help these dogs.
There should be court order passed any day or moment which will release these dogs for adoption, I was informed by Jeanette.

I remember this story.  Wow, what a turn of events.

Prager, didn't Sonia eventually claim that the dog was dead?  What a nutjob and I concur on the diagnosis of Munchausen by Proxy.  Seems textbook to me.
