I have also talked to Timothy personally.  I am the kind of person I generally don't pass judgment or make decisions by what I hear or read. I don't disregard it, but just like to allow people to prove what I heard or read is wrong.  It did not take long, (like 15 minutes) into our conversation to learn for myself that what I read and was told was right.  This guy is a piece of work.. 

I thought that there would have been enough working dog interest in the club that it would not be necessary to have to rely on the Showline members to make sure this guy did not get accepted. I hope you are right.  I can see this guy sugar coating his way into anything with people that don't have a clue as to who he really is.   

Vonissk, it really doesn't take long for the knowledgeable/experienced GSD person to be able to see straight through certain people.   It just makes me ill that some people have to be fooled by his tactics to learn.  

I did talk to Tim at least for 2.5 on his first call to me. Like I said I gave him a chance to redeem himself. After the first 10-15 minutes, I pretended to but gullible and without knowledge. Boy does he prey on that type.  One thing I did get out of our conversations, he is the greatest trainer that ever lived and good lord, if other trainers would just listen to him.   

There may be some WL members of the GSDCA who will or who have contacted Dania about his application, I am not privy to that infomation. Some may skip over the new applicants and his name was just published in the Review I received yesterday. I think it behooves all of us, GSDCA members or not, showline owners or not, to be concerned about who is admitted into membership of the AKC sanctioned parent breed club. That affiliation can be used to sell dogs and promote one services to the novice. I allowed my WDA membership to lapse for a number of reasons, but if I had any pertinent information on a person who applied for membership in that club (or any other) I would certainly let them know.

The GSDCA, like most other breed clubs I  know of, does not personallly interview each application. They depend upon sponsors to not support a person who would be a liabllity to the breed and club. Then the entire membership is offered the opportunity to protest an applicant if they feel there is good reason to do so. Good reason must be substantiated by proof positive, not he said, she said.

Wasn't Helser charged with impersonating a LEO?  He absolutely has a bizarre fascination with Police work to the point of buying an older unmarked Police Crown Vic.

The biggest problem for a club or organization is he becomes a liability. The reputation of that said club or Org falls on the reputation of it,s membership and with his paper trail who would want to take the chance?. He has done it to him self. Every time a guy like Helser screws someone he splash mud on everyone!
