Kyto - I admire Dr Raiser for his ability to train dogs on a high level - I do admire him for his charisma - I do admire him for his positive thoughts about the development of the German Shepherd -
but in my personal opinion it was wrong to leave SV and to create a new club. The RSV2000 is a one man show - lost, as soon as the founder leaves the ship.
I, personally, don´t want one person to judge about a whole breed.
Every breeder has the possibility to choose his breeding stock within the SV, nobody forces anybody to use dogs that don´t serve his demands.
The ( still very few ) dogs registered with RSV2000 are German Shepherds born within the SV - that said, the dogs ARE ALREADY THERE, people ( breeders ) only need to make use of them.

Kyoto, I don't think Germany has world domination in the working world, without a doubt they still do in the show world, so it really comes down to how you see the breed and its function. Some see it one way, some see it another......even in sport the Czech and Scandinavian dogs are every bit as competitive as Germany, and when it comes to Law enforcement, the pendulum has shifted greatly. I like the way things are and are moving towards.....it just takes time. Everybody pursue your dreams and goals, I have faith that things that are too extreme in the breed will gradually gravitate back to middle when it gets to far.

Hi Eddy ,
Just look at the disqualification points for the showline and the same for the working trials.
Now tell us who is ensuring the propergation of the breed.
