It's humbling to know nothing about dogs act like you know everything and then you run into a person like Gustuv on a forum that really knows it all yet remains so humble. I too would like to thank you sir for all that I've learned from reading your posts. I look forward to learning more from you.

Once again Thanks everyone, but there are definitely many others as committed and knowledgable...maybe not as old....lol...but certainly age does not signify depth of knowledge. Some like my contributions some dont....I understand there are different cultures in the breed and I honestly try to see other sides, unless it is clear to me that certain approaches have and are creating irrefutable regression. Then I feel obligated to speak out based on my limited experience. But I understand my experiences are small compared to some and when in their company, I usually shut up and listen so I can learn. I ran across a forum the other day for a UK forum....decided to register and see what is being said there....lo and behold I find out that my email address has been banned! Whoa!!! I have never said or did anything on any forum that I would think would get me banned....but obviously there are those that have issues with my views. I didnt know whether to be upset or honored....anyway, it just made me further realize that their are different cultures in the breed and the passion that emanates from these cultures is often resistant to looking at things differently. Nothing I say or do is personal on this forum or any other....and on the few times I catch myself not showing good decorum I immediately apologise publicly and privately because it is the right thing to do. Once again Thanks everyone and moderator you can kindly remove this thread. Take care all!

Gustav

as a UK resident, I can only thank you for all the help you have given me and may I say that this is the best forum  that I have come across.  As a matter of interest, could you pm the name of the UK forum?
