Jasmin Mata

I'm not an expert or anything, but Bruno is one handsome dog.

To the posts on the first page:

Wow. Voodoo happens to be my female's grandsire. I had no idea that his structure is considered quite stunning. She didn't inherit his topline, hers is a lot straighter. But one thing she did get from ole gramps is the glossy long-stock-hair.

Will be neat to look back on this thread in three years and see if my gut instinct was right.

More fuel for the fire lol.
Another young dog to watch over the next 4 years.

Now I've looked at Bruno's video (or at least the only one I can find)
can I ask whether the strength of his grip has improved any, since
it was filmed ?

Sorry folks I am still not totally convinced about this dog.
Nice ? undoubtedly.
Perfection on legs ?  no, that does seem to be an exageration ...

(The 'perfect' dog has never been born).

Bruno's structure is genetically proven through his sire's side. For anybody who is interested in research, look at who Hutch's half-siblings and full-siblings are, here in the U.S. and in Germany. Hutch and his brother Hudson were both BSP-participants at a very young age. I watched them both compete. A year later, their sister followed their footsteps. Heinz Kruse (the breeder and Hudson owner) is currently competing with a nephew (son of the sister). I am not sure what Dennis Große-Whietfeld does since he sold Hutch and obtained his judging license. However, both of these males were sold to the U.S.. Hudson was with Gary Hanrahan for a while and I am not sure where Hutch is. Whoever is drooling over Bruno could breed their females to either of them. Bruno's paternal grandmother was our foundation female Chuckie and she is just exceptional! I do not understand why Hutch and Hudson are not more utilized by breeders in the U.S. . Could be because most do not want to go through the effort and expense to travel? Most workingline people here fall in either of the two categories here: The ones who think only importing (puppies or adults) is the answer or the ones who do not wish to go through any effort and only breed to the local male owned by a fellow club member or close friend. As to Bruno being to heavy or not, or whatever. He might be to seriously compete but then again - photos can be very deceiving. I will make it a point to look at him the next time I am in Germany. However, the best competition dogs might not be suitable for breeding anyway. A breeder should always look to a dog coming close to the standard. The hardest and toughest puppy we ever bred was out of Dennis Rohde's male Marin, another "heavy" dog who did not really compete much.

Hi Chris-
Cant believe Marin was sold and is in the UK- awesome looking dog-  remember I wanted that pup you are speaking about- and Pia is in North Carolina with pups due from Bomber.  I bought my black male from Drachefeld who is 18 months old now.  The pack of three gets along just fine.
Best
